Dear Amica:
My birthday gift last year was a trip to Boston to visit my daughter. We had planned a long weekend of touring, a show and special dinners. We had even convinced my mother who lives with my husband and I to accompany us for her first trip to New England in more than 30 years. We had a fabulous time.
And then we came home. I unlocked the front door and opened it. Water was pouring through the ceiling in two gaping holes. Parts of the ceiling lay strewn across my furniture. There was an inch or more of water throughout the entire first floor. We called Amica. Within an hour, two members of a restoration company was surveying the damage. A team began working within two hours.
